Driver appeal

We are in need of more drivers  to give up a couple of hours on a Friday morning to take the bus into Watford and back. We say bus, it is not one of those big red things but a nine seater mini bus.

Instruction will be given and the instructor will take you on a short run, for you to familiarise yourself with the vehicle and make sure you are 100% happy

What is involved – collect the bus from Aldenham School and then pick up your passengers from outside the Three Horseshoes at 9.45 – take them into Watford. We stop at the back entrance to the Intu (Harlequin), it is easy to drop off and pick up from here and does not involve driving around the one way system. – Then back home for an hour and a half or so break – back to Watford to pick up your passengers at 12.15pm. – back to the village and return the bus to the school – then go home,put you feet up and have a nice cup of tea and feel good.

Your commitment – At present we have 5 drivers, 3 guys and 2 girls, so each driver is only “on duty” once in five weeks, if we can increase the number of drivers to say 7 then “duty” would only call once in seven weeks, so the more the merrier.
